OU Counseling Center

The Oakland University Counseling Center supports the academic mission of the University by providing high quality, short-term, confidential counseling. As well as testing, consultation, crisis intervention and outreach designed to help students to overcome emotional challenges to meet their intellectual, interpersonal, and developmental goals. We aid students in the development of coping skills to deal with a diverse and changing world.

SEHS Counseling Center

The SEHS Counseling Center is a no-cost service offering personal and career counseling. It is a teaching and research facility for the counselor education program at Oakland University. The center enables graduate students to integrate and apply counseling theory with practice, as well as provide supervised professional counseling assistance to persons in need.

Oakland Cares

In the wake of the violence at Oxford High School, Oakland County is here to help with resources and assistance for anyone struggling with the difficult emotions associated with the tragedy. Whether directly or indirectly involved, there is no student, teacher, staff or member of the broader community who has been left unscathed by this trauma, so the help you seek will be there in the days and weeks ahead.

OK2SAY student safety program

Allows students to confidentially report tips on potential harm or criminal activities directed at students, school employees, and schools. It uses a comprehensive communication system to facilitate tip sharing among students, parents, school personnel, community mental health service programs, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and law enforcement officials about harmful behaviors that threaten to disrupt the learning environment.
