Bargaining Session Report
The latest meeting between the Association and the Oakland teams took place on Thursday, August 19th.
Layoff and Recall. Discussions on Layoff and Recall continued today with both sides presenting counter offers. While some progress was made, the central issue with regards to defining the terms for when layoff may be implemented remains unresolved as of yet.
Economics. As the session ended, Oakland presented the Association with an economic counter proposal. The Association will be reviewing the proposal and responding at the next session.
After the meeting’s end, the two sides signed an agreement to extend the Faculty Agreement through midnight, August 25th. The two sides are scheduled to meet next on Monday, August 23rd.
