| Recently, one student had a sign on her door proclaiming "an injury to one is an injury to all." Her RAs promptly demanded she take it down. Additionally, according to my RA, he and his colleagues were not allowed to display pro-strike signs, nor attend the rally held last Thursday. | ||

| What should students do to support the strike? I'm unable to visit campus but I'm disgusted at how the university administration is handling this. | ||

| Thanks so much for your help. The best way for students to show support for faculty is to come out and join us on the picket lines to show that we have numbers and that this is not just about faculty but about the future of Oakland. | ||

| Another way to show support, which can work from on campus or far away from campus: Flood the OU administration email box with supportive notes. Email your sentiments to President Russi -- russi@oakland.edu Copy your sentiments to the Board of Trustees -- c/o of Victor Zambardi, Vice President for Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary to the Board of Trustees -- zambardi@oakland.edu Just a thought... | ||
